The ETS 2021 Ph.D. Forum aims at the exchange of ideas and experiences of young Ph.D. students, whose research interests are mainly related to the areas of electronic-based circuit and system testing, reliability, security and validation.
In a special poster session, the fresh Ph.D. students will have the opportunity to discuss their ongoing research work with very well-known specialists in the field both from academia and industry. This offers a good opportunity to the Ph.D. students to receive valuable feedback while gaining exposure in the job market.
Furthermore, this forum also provides a great chance to industry experts to meet junior researchers, giving an avenue for incorporating the latest research developments into their companies.
In 2021, the IEEE European Test Symposium (ETS) will be organized virtually on-line. The symposium is organized by KU Leuven and imec, that co-sponsor the event jointly with the IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA).
Guidelines for Authors
The ETS’21 Ph.D. forum provides an excellent opportunity for Ph.D. students that follow their first years of studies to present their ongoing work and get feedback from experts in the field. The forum will be organized as a special poster session in an attractive time slot. Interested Ph.D. students are invited to submit an extended abstracts of 2 pages.
Submissions should be made electronically as a single PDF file via the submission website (link below).
There will be no IEEE publications, but the abstracts will be made available to all ETS attendees in electronic format. Thus, a later, more complete publication of the work in another conference or journal is still possible.
Ph.D. Forum Award
The Ph.D. forum selection committee will review all the presented papers checking the technical content of the paper and the presentation capacity of the candidates, and select the Best Ph.D. forum paper. The Ph.D. Forum Award will be announced during the ETS’21 closing session.
